In this fifth book in the Bobbsey series, The Bobbsey Twins: At Snow Lodge, the story starts out with the twins all back at school after summer vacation. As usual, Danny Rugg, the school bully, is up to his mischief –and this time he’s trying to pin it on Bert. Bert gets accused of freezing a giant snowball to the school steps, and all the evidence seems to point against him. With winter here Christmas is coming too, of course, and the Bobbsey Twins are busy planning for their trip to Snow Lodge–where a lost treasure, a restored friendship, and exciting adventures and a mystery to solve await. Danny Rugg ends up staying in the same area as Snow Lodge and continues to cause trouble, but his father finds out about one of his tricks and punishes him by sending him home.
